Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion - ALIF -

with Femoral Ring Allograft
After removing most  of the disk, the surgeon can spread open the collapsed disk space and then place a graft. These grafts sliced from a femur leg bone of a cadaver donor  and are machined to an optimum wedge shape.  A femoral ring allograft also allows for the placement of bone fusion promoting proteins in the central space of the ring graft.
